Why A.D.C Newsletter?
We live in a world where there is a lot of data, but the information is scarce and hard to find.
It is even worse when you try when it comes to the Amazing things Africans are doing in the AI and ML space.
Try “googling” about AI, ML, NLP, CV and so on. You will barely see articles, tutorials, videos, news and whatnot by Africans on the internet.
Does that mean there are no practitioners or professionals in Africa that are involved in the advancement of this field?
I disagree I think what they lack is presence, or maybe they are underrepresented in this space.

Oh! I forgot to introduce myself.
As a Data Scientist, I was involved in building organization-wide data strategies and technology infrastructure to create and scale data science and machine learning practice from scratch.
As a Community Builder and AI Evangelist, I have built communities from scratch like Data Community Africa, the First MLOps community in Africa that reached out to a broader audience, I have also organized conferences, hackathons, and meetups, keep discord and slack communities engaged, writing and speaking about a practical approach to building communities and supporting other data communities, I do all these across data analysis and engineering, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
As a Content Creator, I create Social Media content from LinkedIn to Twitter, write articles for non-technical and technical audiences, speak at conferences, and contribute to open-source through code and good documentation and am a podcast host for Datapodchat.
